Refund and Returns Policy

At Stock Mug, we are committed to transparency and fairness. This policy explains the conditions under which returns are accepted, who pays for return shipping, and how refunds are processed.

All returns must comply with the terms outlined below.

1. Return Eligibility & 30-Day Window

You may request a return within 30 days of the delivery date shown on your tracking information.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused

  • The item must be in its original condition

  • All original packaging, tags, manuals, and accessories must be included

  • Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required

We do not charge restocking fees.

Returns that do not meet these conditions (used, damaged by the customer, or missing packaging) may be rejected.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Perishable or expirable products (if still within shelf life)

  • Items marked as “Non-Returnable” on the product page

  • Products damaged due to misuse or improper handling by the customer

These exclusions are clearly disclosed on relevant product pages.

3. Return Shipping Responsibility

A. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If you receive:

  • A defective item

  • A damaged item

  • The wrong product

We will:

  • Cover the full return shipping cost

  • Refund the original shipping fee paid at checkout

  • Offer either a replacement or full refund

Photo evidence may be required.

B. Change of Mind / Customer Preference

If you:

  • Ordered the wrong size or color

  • Changed your mind

  • No longer want the item

You are responsible for:

  • Return shipping costs

  • Ensuring the item arrives safely

Original shipping fees paid at checkout are non-refundable.

4. How to Start a Return

Step 1: Contact Us

Email info@stockmug.com with:

  • Your order number

  • Reason for return

  • Photos (if item is defective or damaged)

Returns must be approved before shipping.

Step 2: Repack the Item

Securely pack the item in its original packaging with all included materials.

Step 3: Ship the Item

We recommend using a trackable shipping method for change-of-mind returns, as we are not responsible for lost return shipments sent without tracking.

5. Refund Processing Timeframe

Once your returned item is received:

  1. We inspect it within 3–5 business days

  2. If approved, your refund is processed within 5–10 business days

  3. Refunds are issued to your original payment method

Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time for the funds to appear in your account.

If 10 business days have passed since approval:

  • Check your bank statement

  • Contact your payment provider

  • If unresolved, email us at info@stockmug.com.

6. Exchanges

We accept exchanges for:

  • Size changes

  • Color changes

  • Product replacements

Exchange Costs

  • Defective/Incorrect items → Free exchange

  • Change-of-mind exchanges → Customer pays return shipping

Replacement items are shipped after the original item passes inspection.

7. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled only before dispatch.

Once an order has shipped, it must follow the standard return process.
